Xbox 360 RROD Warranty Question?

I had the exact same problem, i decided to try and fix it myself replacing the clamps and thermal paste however it was only short term, i would say only try and fix it yourself if you know how 2 properly, after this happened again instead of paying the �90 i decided to get an arcade for an extra tenner, how no problems since, unfortunatly arcades have jus gne up in price.
