Could anyone explain why I am like this and what I can do about it?

sounds like you are a little insecure (nothing major) usually happens to people who consume too much media hype which alters their perception of what you should and should not be. the idea of recognition kicks in soon after. try to be yourself and not give a **** what others think becuase the ones who ask them questions are F'd up anyway
