Does ex's new wife have to be in the courtroom for custody hearing?

Well, I went to court with my ex on Tuesday for custody of my daughter. I have full physical custody, we share legal custody. He has not seen her for visitation in 18 months. And, also he has not paid any child support since she was born, both cases were given a court date for november, and my daughter was given a guardian at law to represent her. His ex is horrible, and last time we went to court I got into an argument with her outside the courthouse due to her lying and, being a real beyotch. My ex lied and, said I was keeping him away from our daughter because he is with this woman now. Which is false. He has made no attempts to see my daughter. My husband and I are raising her. She thinks my hubby is her daddy and, she adores him. She really has nothing to do with this case, she has never been around my child and, I don't feel it's necessary to have her in the courtroom. Is this possible?
