Ways to kill oneself?

A believable version would come of going to an extreme of something daily, or something that most wouldnt do..like step in front of a truck. I mean, we all have stood at the side of the street waiting to cross with both parents and everyone else saying to look both ways..it's sort of dramatic to consider when writing someone's comtemplation of suicide. It gives you as author to pick place, and allows you to dive into her thinking. Also it's a little creepy because there are so many times the character could actually take the moment to step out, or go back to thinking.
