Do u think I have a chance to get into San Jose State if i send them a appeal letter after getting rejected?

Here is my situation... I just got a email informing me I will not be accepted to SJSU for fall 2011 because of severe space limitations. However i was already accepted to the school this semester but i could not transfer this semester because of family problems at home. My dad is ill and there is no one to take care of him so i had no choice but to withdraw from the spring and reapplied for the fall instead. Reason I applied for the fall also was because my sister will graduated this semester and will be back home to take care of our dad, so I thought about it and decided transferring in the fall would be the best. I also already set up housing plans at San Jose and now i found out I can't get in after all that... Do you think they will reconsidered if I tell them my situation in an appeal letter. Just want to here others' opinions. Thanks
