I am Russian, but don't look Russian at all?! :(?

Ok, I'm FULL Russian, both my parents were Russian but I had ancestors a really long time ago that were German, Finnish & Jewish aswell. Thing is, I don't look Russian at all I have a medium complexion - somewhat a VERY light olive skintone..I have hazel/brown eyes with a light/medium brown hair colour and look 'ordinary'. I don't think I'm ugly or anything, but I've come to a point in my life were whenever I tell someone I'm Russian they just laugh it off and don't believe me!! I look very Mediterranean and wish I could have come into this world with light eyes or lighter skin just to look slightly different (by the way, I don't live in Russia at this moment in time). I've begun thinking of dyeing my hair platinum blonde and buying blue or green contact lenses just to show that I'm different! I'm really self conscious because I feel like I can't really represent my country - it just sucks. To make me feel worse...my three step sisters are half Russian and look more russian than me.
